Best time to go to the Chin State Winter Season: October / November to February: This is the best period, with warm days & cold or very cold nights. You must have warm or very warm clothes, shoes etc.
Dry Season: Mar - April - May: This the second best period. March nights are cold & the countryside is dry. If you are interested only by the ethnic part of the trek, it would be ok, but not if you are planning to see nice forest, green fields etc.
Monsoon Season: June to September: We do not recommend travel in this period. Roads are in bad conditions, there is a lot of rain, causing muddy conditions in the villages & on trails.
